Meet the Founder

Haeven Gibbons is the founder of Haev Studios.

Hello! I am from Georgetown, Texas and am currently based in Dallas. When I am not writing, designing or snapping shots behind the camera, I enjoy long walks, spending time with my cats (Bindi and Jax!), yoga, hiking and trying local food. I also teach English as a Second Language classes for a local nonprofit.

I am an award-winning journalist and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University and worked as a reporter for The Dallas Morning News, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and AM New York. My experience in helping communities goes beyond journalism with my work in higher education, supporting low-income and first-generation community-college students to navigate barriers to access.

I am excited to merge my passion for working in communities with my love for storytelling through Haev Studios.
